Death korps of krieg miniatures are so badass looking, but pricey. How do they stack up in terms of quality.
Also in the warhammer world, how good is protectorate of menoth ? and what do reclaimers do ?
The Death Korps are, indeed, great miniatures. However, the resin that Forge World uses, whilst it gives awesome detail, is a pain to clean and file and is prone to snap. Casting quality from FW varies enormously and, although FW are usually more than happy to provide replacements, you should be prepared to spend time with the modelling putty, filling casting bubbles and fixing flaws.
In the Warmachine world, the different armies are pretty well balanced, although there are some really horrible army combinations that are essentially impossible to beat. Privateer Press are said to be addressing this – we’ll wait and see! Reclaimers are Menoth’s answer to warcasters and (with a nod to WH40k’s “faith points”) gain powers when soldiers in their army die, which they can either use directly against opponents or use to fuel and enhance warjacks.
