I want to play all three games, but which one is better?

If you’re already a passionate fan of the LOTR stories then that might be your way in or – as it was with me – it might be the stumbling block that means you don’t want to dilute your own visions of Middle Earth with someone else’s. You may, instead, find the apocalyptic tenor of the Warhammer worlds more to your taste, where the lines of good and evil are less clearly drawn.
Some are excited by the sense of claustrophobic horror of the Old World, where ancient forests hide dark menace, and Man’s greatest enemy is himself. Others are drawn to the space-operatic Ragnarok of the Imperium, where the lines of morality must be redrawn every moment and the ends justify the means as all things trickle inexorably to an unknown but imminent destiny…
