How do I connect my RCA cables to my cdplayer if theres one blue subwoofer output & red & white inputs on amp?
Do I connect my Rca cables to the one blue subwoofer output and use a Y cable to connect to the Amp with the red and white inputs? Or do I just connect the Rca’s to the cdplayers rear outputs?
I would do the first one, use the one sub RCA through one side of the RCA cables to an RCA y-cable.
Since your stereo has a sub output, it’s probable got a low-pass filter (lpf) and a sub level control built in to the stereo. This is what you want, this way you can control both the crossover frequency (via the lpf) and the sub level -through the stereo. It makes for easier adjustments.
