Carbonite scene in The Empire Strikes Back?
Nearly all of us remember the famous scene in which Han Solo has to be frozen in Carbonite for his journey to Jabba The Hutt in The Empire Strikes Back. My question is this – If you were in Han Solo’s shoes and you were going to be frozen in carbonite, what would your initial feelings and thoughts be when being coated in the carbon freeze? Would you be able to breathe? What would the pain be like and how could you cope for so long inside that grey carbon freeze prison block? Your thoughts and opinions please.
I would be frightened and scared but also angry and determined to get even with the Empire. I would imagine that the whole process is done so fast that you are not able to feel much until you thaw out, kind of like having your leg or arm go to sleep it hurts and tingles when circulation starts again.As for your mind You are in a state of coma and perhaps comatose so that time has no real meaning.
