Are there any restaurants in Chicago that serve Strawberry Shortcake?
I have a friend from San Diego looking for some strawberry shortcake. I have never had it but I need to find it in Chicago or somewhere in Illinois.
Gibson’s Steak House has “without a doubt the best strawberry shortcake in the world” according to this website: http://home.comcast.net/~wadenorton/best_chicago_restaurants.htm
I can’t speak for their desserts but their Steaks are as good as it gets. For $12 their strawberry shortcake better be damn good too!
If you’re not looking to break the bank, try Portillo’s Famous Chicago Hot Dogs. It has strawberry shortcake on the menu, though I have never had it before, but their other desserts and their hot dogs are great.
