Kenny Stabler is one of the all time favorite Oakland Raiders for many fans of the team. He had the name “The Snake” and he fit in perfectly as one of the leaders of the 1970′s Raiders. He was very successful too, guiding the team to several high quality wins in big games. Over the course of his career he would earn the respect of many coaches, teammates, foes, and fans.
Here is a look at five interesting facts about Kenny “The Snake” Stabler.
#1 – The First Of Many
The first touchdown pass that Kenny Stabler threw in the National Football League cam in a 27-16 win during the 1971 season over the Broncos. It came in the third quarter and went for nine yards to Raymond Chester. It was his only touchdown pass of the season.
#2 – Out On A Limb
No player caught more touchdown passes from Kenny Stabler than Raiders wide receiver Cliff Branch. He hauled in 44 TD receptions, finishing just ahead of the second place player on the list who had 38.
#3 – Hey, Don’t I Know You?
Kenny Stabler and Dave Casper are both tied to the Raiders organization in most fans’ minds. Seven of the 38 career touchdown passes that they would hook up for actually took place when both were members of the Houston Oilers during the 1980 and 1981 seasons.
#4 – Chief Killer
Kenny Stabler threw 21 touchdown passes against the Kansas City Chiefs during his career. This is more than he threw against any other team in the league. Second place on the list belongs to the Denver Broncos with 19.
#5 – The Last Of Their Kind
The last Oakland Raider that Stabler would throw a touchdown pass to would be Mark van Eeghen. Stabler would go on to play two seasons with Houston after that and then three years with the New Orleans Saints before retiring.

Do you have to have the Speed Racer UB Hub to use Trixie and Snake Oiler?
On UB Funkeys do you have to have the Speed Racer hub in order to use Trixie and Snake Oiler? We didn’t buy the SR hub (we have the normal one), and it gives us the same error it did when we tried the Funkiki Island ones. We had to call the 800# and they sent us a new hub and it worked then. Please answer!
No, The HUBs are identical accept for the design on UB. I think Mattel’s servers are just tempremental and depending on the speed of your connection, sometimes you can’t get the update. Just keep trying, especially on non-peak hours (like in the mornings, when people are at work, or after 10pm)
