The definition of perception stretches in its meaning extensively specifying quality, state, or capability, of being affected by something external. The sensation and sensibility should prevail to understand and appreciate the happenings around us irrespective of place and time.

What we see is important, subject to our evaluating its core values and relating it appropriately. The observed objects, whether human being or other articles should be recognized by our senses. It is equally important to know where we see these things. The observation should be registered in our mind through our senses and sensibility should appreciate it too. This combination of sense and sensibility will reflect the compound effect of recognition. The recognition then transformed the subject matter into appreciation and enjoyment.
The irony of human beings is that they failed to recognise and appreciate it in the event of change of place and time. People see, here and watch the persons and other subjects all the time. They only concentrate when advance information is available to them about the designated place, important person and matter of interests.
Joshua Bell, one of the greatest musicians in the world played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars. The show was a sold-out theatre in Boston where the seats averaged $100 each to sit and listen to him. On the other hand, people failed to recognise him and appreciate his talents when he played it at the crowded Washington DC railway station using and playing the same instrument and music.
It is very important that every individual must keep his eyes and ears open all the times. He must also apply his mind whenever it is required. He should act upon whatever it is expected of him to do. The opportunities don’t knock the door every time and all the time.
