When it comes to building one way links to your website, blog or forum, it’s easy to get bogged down. There are so many potential ways to get links, that you can find yourself spending more time reading how to do it, than actually doing it.
There are a few cast-iron, guaranteed ways to increase the number of one way links to your site, and by ensuring you work on those methods, you will maximize your return while minimizing the time you spend doing it.
1. Use a link exchange directory. There are several sites around that allow you to join and then browse a directory of member sites to swap links with. Ideally you are looking for what is called a “one way link exchange directory”. Do a Google search and you will find some you can use.
2. Use Linkwheels. A link wheel is a set of six social media sites, such as Squidoo, blogger etc. On each of the 6 sites, create a new page and write a keyword-rich article. Ensure that in the article you not only link to your site, but also to the previous social media site that you used. At the end you have a chain of 6 social media sites, all with keyword-rich articles, not only linking to your site, but also passing on authority to each other through the circle of links you have formed.
3. Use Digg, Reddit and Stumbleupon. Write a new blog post on your niche daily, and link to it on these sites. Do it every single day, and within a month you will notice the effect it is having on people linking to your content.
4. Network. Use Twitter and LinkedIn to network with people in your niche. Not only will you pick up good info ut it is a great way to get relevant people to view your site and maybe link to it totally naturally.
5. Linkbait. Write great content and publicize it everywhere you can. People will like it and link to it. And the great thing is that they will keep on linking to it for weeks, months and years.

It is usually easier to get get credit from a store/gas station. (dont apply for too many credit cards)
The best way to build credit is pay your balance in full every month and never miss a payment.
Go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp and get a free credit report every year. It will not give you a score but it will give you an idea of what someone pulling your credit would see. Its also a good way to see if you have an open credit card and forgot about it, or someone stole your identity and opened a card in your name.
Pay off current balances on whatever credit cards are still open. Do not carry a balance into the month.
Utilization > If there is a 1000 credit limit and you are using 900 dollars of your credit ‘allowance’ that looks bad. Using under 30% of available credit is good.
Applying for too many credit cards can hurt your credit score. If you apply to one or two in a month wait at least 3-4 months before applying to other cards.
If you have a credit card, use it. If you dont use a credit card at all and make no payments it does not help at all.
Its also important to have some emergency savings for 3-6months of bills in-case bad stuff happens (you get fired, car blows up, you fall down some stairs, ETC) Rainy days do happen, expect them.
I have also read that having a savings and checking account can make it easier to get accepted for a credit card.
