how come nice guys like Matt Kenseth finish short of the win in the end?
we are talking about matt “the brat” kenseth – owner of the last “winston cup” ever won (2003), correct? the same matt kenseth who has sixteen cup wins and twenty four nationwide series wins? the same matt kenseth who once made the usually calm and collected jeff gordon so mad that he hopped out of his car at bristol once and knock matt back on his heels? the same matt kenseth who just six weeks ago was outside the top 20 and who has now moved into 8th place in the points? the same matt kenseth who is tied with junior for second in top 10s with 12 (busch and edwards have 13)?
he’ll get there – he’s just had some bad luck and got a little slower start in the COT than edwards, busch, biffle, and now johnson. but he’s coming on strong and after having seen how he always comes back at the end, i have no doubt he’ll have a win or more before the year is out.
