Do you get in touch with your feelings a lot, to figure things out?
Lately, yes, I’ve had to. Things in my life have not been positive for me and have been leading me into a deep depression. I’m a strong person who generally leads rather than follows..Because of being in a vulnerable position, I closed those qualities down and forgot who I am. I started changing back to myself when I realized I was just a shell of the person that I used to be and for what people admired me for. My feelings were blocking my sense of admiration for the person I really am and I had to take three steps back, take a reality check and recognize that I don’t and won’t be commandeered by someone else and won’t be emotionally abused any longer for their shortcomings. I’ve come a long way back to me again and I’ve gained a stance on life…….
