Lionel is a toy manufacturer that is famous for its toy trains and model railroads. Its products are admired for the solid construction and authentic detail. Perhaps, no other companies put so much effort to create a highly detailed design like Lionel does, when it comes to toy trains and model railroads. Lionel Harry Potter Hogwarts Express is definitely not an exception.
In every box that customers buy, they will find the G-gauge 4-6-0 steam locomotive engine and tender, 2 passenger coaches, 3 straight patented FasTrack track sections and 1 combination car. Those are all connected with soft molded diaphragms. You will find the interior lightings in all train set, bell and air whistle to indicate its departure and puffing smoke during the trips to Hogwarts; all of which adding more details to this train toy.
This toy is designed for little ones 5 years old and up. However, the assembly process has to be either done by the parents/adults or under supervision from them due to the complexity in the process. Once the assembly process is finished, the CW-80 transformer will provide 80 watts of power to ensure this toy will not only work smoothly but also efficiently (in term of electric power). Kids can control the way this train move, the lighting and sound effects all at the same time using the included remote control. Your kids will have such fun time looking at how this train moves around the tracks while imagining what will Potter and his friends do in it.

DON’T DO IT!
If the transformers are connected together, hot to hot, ground to ground, and the voltages don’t exactly match, you will have a potential difference between the two that’s like having a short circuit. At best, the circuit breaker will trip, at worst, you’ll start a fire.
The only situation where it’s permissible to use two separate transformers on a layout is where you have two separate, isolated power blocks. If you’re interested in this, pick up any one of the excellent books out there on layout wiring.
