how can i stop light/picture flicker on my stop animation videos?
Every time i take a picture the natural light flickers on the lego set like crazy, one picture is dark, the next a shadow appears, i can not just use artificial light, it doe not look right and i can not just shut the curtains because then it will obviously just be dark!
natural light is constantly changing and cannot be controlled. as long as you insist on using natural light, you are going to have that flickering.
there is no getting around it. You will have to use artificial light.
close your curtains, set up several lights w/o shades near your work area and go to town.
if you are going to be making stop motion videos on a regular basis then you’ll want to invest in some proper work lights. They are not overly expensive and can be purchased from a home improvement store or a good art supply store.
