For a 4 year old boy is the LeapFrog Tag Jr better or the Tag Reader?
My son loves to read and I want to get him one of these but i am not sure which would be better. The Tag Jr look like fun but I don’t want it to be to “little” kiddish. The Tag Reader looks awesome too but I don’ t want him not to be able to use it because he is not old enough. Looking for another parents thoughts on the matter. Thanks!
We have both – Jr for my two year old and the regular one for my four year old. Definitely go with the regular one. The Jr. one is very limited in what it does with each book and I also think there are fewer book choices to choose from. They are board books, 5-10 pages, and I think a four year old would get bored with it mighty quickly. The regular one (the pen) is much more advanced, says a lot more, and the books are aimed at older children. Perfect for a four year old IMO.
