Is $500,000 a year rich enough to buy a lamborghini Murcielago?
I was debating with my friend as to how rich one needs to be to purchase a Lamborghini Murcielago.
Consider these circumstances when answering:
Single male( girls on the side)
No kids
early 30′s
$800,000 house in Long Island(still paying mortgage after 3 years)
How rich do you guys think one needs to be to buy $350,000 car?
Say i pay about $60k a year on mortgage payments.
I agree with AB. You should buy a car outwright. However I think that you should be earning something more like $700,000/year. Most of the people I know that have nice cars have cost them approx half of their years salary. Of course they are only on $50K – $100K/year but the ratios are the same. Bottom line is if you have to ask yourself if you can afford something chances are you cant…..dont forget you have to put fuel in that bad boy….
