1985 Ford Thunderbird turbo coupe won’t start and no spark?
I have a Ford Mustang with a turbo engine from a 1985 Ford Thunderbird turbo coupe. You can take a spark plug out and crank it over and it only sparks when you let off the key from cranking it. Basically it only gets spark when the key is in the off position.
if you test it at the coil you will notice that it also gives a spark when you first turn on the key but nothing while cranking.
the ignition module on the side of the distributor is the culprit.
