How can I make a figure in a still photograph shake its head back and forth or side to side?
I’m making a funny slideshow and I would like to know how I can make JUST the heads in a photograph move. Not anything complicated just back and forth or side to side head motion. is there any software for doing this?
I did this once as a joke. I took two guys that didn’t like each other, had them each pose individually as if they had their arm around someone – they didn’t know what I was up to. I them photoshopped them together and it looked like they were best buds. Then I took their heads as another layer, and in order to make them shake back and forth I just inverted them. Since their heads were slightly tilted and their faces are pretty much symmetrical, it looks like they’re shaking their heads back and forth. Then I turned that into a .gif so it repeats. It was sooooo funny. If you want to do it a little better, have the head twist instead of invert. Since I did this in two shots, I already had the background behind the head, so I didn’t have to clone background into the gap when I moved the head.
