when do unopened contact lenses go bad?
i just found some contact lenses they are about 3 years old lol.
they’re unopened and i just wondered if they are still ok to use for a while..they are not prescription but i got them from eye doctor back then.
brand is Acuvue 2. if i put them in for an hour or two or something would they hurt my eyes? is the liquid they are in no good? they arent dried out or anything.
and im wondering why is there an expiration date?? what expires? what makes them go bad?
The lens containers should have an expiration date stamped on them. Discard the lenses after that date.
