Need help with photographing an etch-a-sketch?
I am an artist and i do some work on etch-a-sketches. I do not have great photography skills though and i would appriciate tips on takes high quality photos of my etch-a-sketch works. The problem is the reflection. You can see my work and the photos i have so far on my website, but i want higher quality. www.coreymarsh.com Thanks for your help!
Fish is right, we need to know what your resources are.
If I was doing it I would use a light tent and place the camera directly overhead. Even omnidirectional soft light in the tent could cause a reflection/secondary image since this is a three dimensional surface with light reflected from both faces of the screen and the reflective aluminum powder inside. A polarizing filter is a likely possibility.

Has anyone ever made an etch-a-sketch with a removable back? You could backlight the image with colored lights.
