Does anyone know where I can buy a life size child toy doll?
I have 12 grandchildren so I don’t have a bunch of money to spend. But I have a 8 year old grand-daughter and I would love to get her one of those tall dolls like I once got when I was a kid. It’s just a tall life size (almost as big as a child) dolls and it doesn’t have to do anything. It just needs to have movable legs and arms and eyes that close when you lay her down, and hair of course, and be made of plastic. Please help
The vintage Patti playpals are no longer suitable for children due to the plastic is now brittle and will not hold up to play. I have several hundred vintage companion dolls. Ashton Drake in the last few years have made reproduction playpals and they are made of vinyl so they are very tough but heavier than the vintage playpals. Some discount stores, sell a doll called Wispy Walker she comes in 30″ and 40″ tall . They are very cheap and very cheaply made…decal eyes, atrocious hair but cheap enough you won’t worry about the child playing with it. I think an 8 year old may want a better quality doll.JMO.
