About The Island

Web Developers will often refer to their development area that is pre- live content as their "Sandbox". In short, it is an area to continue to play with the content and functionality before the rest of the world gets to. This site is a work in process, and is very appropriately called "The Island". Many projects are still in the works, including this page.

"The Island" portion of the name comes from the quote above; I believe that people are made up of a complex conglomeration of the many interactions and life experiences that they have had, all of which shape their world-view and personality.
